这取决于主语是什么,这个句子主语是the man,是人,那么动词就是主动形式,选C；若主语是物,如是the problem,那就是被动,就要用settled,不加be动词的,分词作状语的形式.关于这个问题还有一个很经典的,常考的句子,Seen from the top of the hill,the hill is really splendid.和 Seeing from the top of the hill,the man felt ease.看出不同了吧?物作主语用被动,人作主语用主动,这是我高中时常碰到的句型.
