I answered an ad in the New Times for a book cover designer.Unfortunately ,it was a mass-market publisher.but a foot in the door is a foot in the door.

a foot in the door,美国推销员敲开门后怕主人关门,总是一只脚先跨进大门,所以这句话成了成语,跟中文里“总算迈进了一步”意思差不多.
这句话的意思是,我找到了一份工作,帮新时代广告做封面设计,但是不幸的是,它是一家销量很大的出版商,所以呢,其实我的工作量就非常的大.但是不管怎么说,也总算是离成功又跨近了一步.
