1. my views of tests
Since school comes into being, the test standard has been used to appraise performance of students. So far it is still being used, which may suggest that actually there are some advantages in it. However, it is also highly possible that the test standard is a not ideal way to find out what students have learned and what they haven't. Most school is still using it just because there is no better method to replace it.
In my opinion, the following three points are the critical flaws in the test standard.
One of the most harmful effects on the test method is that it will force us to study just for passing tests, not for acquiring knowledge especially in China. Obviously the final object of education is making us intellective by learning more knowledge. While the test is only a way to examine the level of students' studies, it has been deteriorated to a sifter deciding the fate of students. Why can it be called a terrible sifter? Now in the tests, which decide who can enter a higher school, thousands of poor students, who want a splendid future, must prepare for the tests by finishing a great deal of practices. Those practice tests are heavy-laden to them. So in this case, how can they be expected to study to obtain knowledge? To them that are enough if they can reach the level which tests need. In the end what our nation will get, genuine persons with ability or just test robots?
Secondly, tests will bring the examinees great pressure, which can affect their lives. A typical example of this is that most young students have worn glasses even though some of them are still children. For preparing for tests, they must spend a lot of time on doing their homework so that their eyesight becomes worse and worse. And the more time they spend on those, the less time they have for playing and relaxing. Consequently, there is a bad influence on their health.
Thirdly, in fact, test system itself can not veraciously estimate who is better than others because there are many factors impacting the results of test. For instance, someone cheated in test so that his score would be higher than others. Or someone who was too nervous to perform well fell in the test.
Only in spare time and no pressure of tests existent, students can study simply for the fun, for obtaining knowledge and for the things that they are really interested in. But now the test system is the only way to select which one is better, who can reach better school and who can get good job. Then what we can do is to improve the test system or hope that something better will be invented and replace the test system.
2、Why are Bicycles so Popular in China?
Bicycles are a convenient means of transportation. People can go wherever they like by bike on a short trip. It is easy to go to work or school by bike because most of the Chinese live not far away from where they work or study. Riding bicycles is also good exercise, which can help build people's bodies.

What's more, riding bicycles can save energy. China has a population of more than 1,300 million. As bicycles are not expensive, almost every family has one. Now each family in China has at least a bike instead of a car. Thus a great deal of energy is saved and serious air pollution is reduced.
That's why bicycles are so popular in China.
2.why e-bikes so popular in china
Since electric bikes (e-bikes) appeared on the market about 10 years ago in China, they have become a popular means of transport with the great masses of low-income residents in Chinese urban and rural areas. According to an October 2007 report, the current number of e-bikes in use in China registers 30 million. And it is expected that more people will become e-bike users in the years to come, in the backdrop of the price hikes of crude oil in the international market, and with the increase of their income.

Why are e-bikes so popular with so many common Chinese? There are at least four reasons for its popularity. In the first place, E-bikes are really a proper means of point-to-point transport. As a rule, there is some distance between our home and the nearest bus stop and between the nearest bus stop and our office building. If we commute daily by e-bike for a short distance, particularly in smaller cities, we can ride straight to our destinations from our homes without having to walk extra to and from the bus stop. And E-bikes provide particularly fast and cheap communication for laborers who are mobile all day long, making a hard living. Obviously, point-to-point transport is no doubt a great merit of e-bikes for commuters and other mobile people who have to hurry to and from work, particularly on hot and cold days.

Secondly, e-bikes are more environmentally friendly. Thirty years of fast economic growth has passed, and we are now being tormented by the serious problem of environmental pollution. Huge amounts of gas emissions from huge numbers of motor vehicles are a great worry for many Chinese cities. Compared to mopeds, motorcycles or cars, e-bikes consume a tiny amount of energy. Typical power consumption of an e-bike is 0.10 to 0.15 kw, compared with about 15.0 kw for a car. It is not that current e-bike users are particularly environmentally responsive, but their conversion to e-bikes indeed contributes a lot to energy-saving and environmental protection.

Thirdly, as a product that suits the current level of popular consumption in China, e-bikes are properly priced and common Chinese can afford to buy them. In any society, poor or relatively poor people constitute the majority of the population of a country, and China, as a developing country in the third world, is no exception. Now most Chinese still lead a subsistence life. When a viable product in place of regular bikes that they have used for scores of years, they are certainly willing to convert to it. It is unfair to say that the poor are destined for regular bikes when horsepower-saving e-bikes are available, when the rich sit comfortably in their cars, sheltered from rain and wind.

Finally, e-bikes are easier to ride, especially for women and old people, so they take the great fancy of common consumers. An experienced cyclist does not need assistance under normal conditions to reach a speed of 20-25 km/h. When facing headwind, moving uphill or carrying an extra passenger assistance will make a big difference. It ensures that the rider can maintain its regular cruising speed. Therefore, e-bikes, which run neither too fast nor too slowly, are a relatively safe means of transport. So they are particularly suitable for women and senior people.

Unfortunately, such a trend-setting means of transport, since it was pushed onto the market, has met with fierce hostility from many local governments in China. In Fuzhou, Fujian province and Zhuhai and Guangzhou, Guangdong province, for example, e-bikes have been outlawed, although many locals in these cites need them in their life. In more Chinese cities such as Haikou, Hainan province and Changzhou, Jiangsu province, the status of e-bikes in the spectrum of means of transport remains an uncertainty. Netizens are having a heated discussion about the issue, and most of them support the legitimization of e-bikes in the whole system of city transport. Whether we accept the e-bike or not seems to be a hard nut to crack in Chinese society. It is odd that such an environmentally friendly means of transport cannot win its due status in public transit in many parts of China that is being troubled by its huge population, the deteriorating environment, and the price hikes of crude oil in the international market. In view of all this, I think the only way to change the subtle situation is to revolutionize our traditional idea about public transport and come up with the concept and practice of green transportation.
