1.his old ways是走回老路,就是接着抽烟.
2.the hotel在这里是统称旅馆；后面是给对方找张床位,没说什么样的床位啊,也没特指,当然用不定冠词a拉.
3.（故事背景大概是他们上课在讲一篇故事）

选A,讲课的内容覆盖了整篇的2/3——个人觉得这个用法很地道.
D（talk about——讲； lesson——课）的意思我感觉有点中国式英语,估计这题是个中国人英语老师出的.
B意思不对,跟D的错误有些相似.
D的意思不沾边.
4.第一个空填far或much都可以；
第二个就只能填much了,far须直接修饰比较级中心词.
