travel can widen our knowledge of geography,the knowledge of customs,cultures and lifestyles of different places and countries.By traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places.We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books,and visit some famous cities and scenic spots.
We will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel.We can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people,taste different foods and local flavours if we like.In this way,we can understand how differently other people live.With all these advantages of travel,it is no wonder that travel has now become more popular than ex'er in China.

surfing the internet has become a daily issue since we stepped into the imformation times.let us see the advantages:through the internet we get approch to various kinds of information,such as current affairs from home and abroad,and local news.and also we can keep in contact with our family through internet,such as by QQ,MSN.the most importantly,we can learn something from the net,we can get help for almost anything we don't know from the net.that is why so many people now say that the internet is like a school with qulified teachers from all fields.
but we know every coin has two sides ,so do surfing the internet,the nagtive side mainly consists the following three aspects:first one may get addicted in the net by spending hours and hours of time in front of the computer;second ,informations spread through the net are not all true,those false news sometiomes confuss the reader seriously,which may lead disasters;the last one is that a student may be bored of studying after he has experienced the freedom and passion from srufing the internet,compared with the strict school regulations and the never finished homeworkes.
