Aswe all know,English writing is an important component of English teching in the Senior Middle School and permeates the whole teaching process, which is involves of the cultivation of the students' ability about listening, speaking, reading and translating. The fourth lesson of each unit in the New compiled textbooks for Senior students arranges the part of writing. therefore, writing teaching plays an important part to some extent in the English teaching of Senior Middle School. however, The situation of teching is not optimistic.
