这里涉及到一个范围的问题
2句为什么boy后不加s呢?原因在于Jim 是包括在his class中的（即Jim是他班里的一名成员）,Jim是属于他们班级这个大范围里的,这个范围是有所指的（即Jim的班级）
换句话说Jim和这个班级是有交集的,在班级这个大圆里,或许Jim是里面的一个点
1句不加s,是因为they和animals是没有交集的,（即这个animal的范围是什么?我可以说我这里的动物仅指飞禽,或陆生动物等.如果我的they指狗类,而把animal设为飞禽,那么两者就没交集）
我们可以再看2个例句：
1..Shanghai is langer than other city in China. （china就是那个把上海包括在内的范围）
2.Tom runs faster than any other student in his class.
这种句子如果想加s 可以改为
Tom runs faster than any of the other students in his class.
