The purpose of this Specification is to describe the basic conditions and requirement for Coil Packing Line (hereinafter called the “PA-1”) of the Silicon Line (hereinafter called the “Silicon Line”),and to define the scope of supply and services between Angang Steel Co.,Ltd,SAMJUNG Packing and Aluminium Co.Ltd.
This specification is for a coil packing line consisting of the following.
PA-1’s process are full covered for Nos.1 ,2 & 3RCL of Silicon Line.
This packing line is designed to packed the coils with Paper,Plastic,Heavy Paper,metal secondary components and steel band.
Automatic Packaging procedures are as follower :
- Coil transporting,lifting & weighting
- Paper cutting for circumferential side
- Banding.
Manual packaging procedures are as follower :
- Paper setting on coil and folding
- Inner & outer corner ring setting
- Heavy Paper setting
- Plastic setting
- Inner and outer steel sheet setting
The coil delivered into TOP of PA-1 by Robo car from Customer’s equipment (RCL skids)
Conveyor in CPL is considered low movement for quality,safety,Speedy,and anti-rolling of coil.
Coil shifts pitch by pitch at each station on continuous by hydraulic Walking Beam system.
It will be economic and easy maintenance and very high working ratio.
Automatic and manually steel packing machinery shall be located along with the walking beam in order to pack the coils progressively.
A Steel Packing System shall be installed behind the Paper packing for the long distance handling of coils as well as for export packing.
Packaged coils on this line shall be transferred to a product storage yard by “Overhead Crane”
1.2 BASIC CONCEPT
The production capacity of the PA-1 shall be Max.20Coils/Hour
The basic considerations for this PA-1 are as follows:
1.2.1 Operating systems
The line shall be controlled by highly functionalized process computer systems to effectively
maintain the coils quality and to increase safety during operation.
1.2.2 Labor management
PA-1 shall be designed for operation by the minimum qualified operators.
1.2.3 Overall layout
The entire line is arranged in compact layout,which is desirable from the viewpoint of easy maintenance and production control.
1.2.5 Safety and equipment protection
All equipment accessible for maintenance will be provided with safety interlock device.
Equipment will be fully interlocked to prevent breakdown or damage caused by mechanical and electrical faults.
In the event of a power failure,the system shall hold on safe.On the restoration of power,
the system shall require operator intervention to reset the system in a safe manner.
All equipment accessible to the operator shall be guarded in accordance with good safety practice.
Safety fence and safety cover shall be provided where protection from danger is required
and for all rotating parts.
