as long as引导条件状语从句,可以加含can、be able to的句子、完成时（过去完成时、现在完成时）、现在时,但一般不接将来时.
例1：As long as you've offered,I accept.既然你已给我,我就接受.
例2：I will cooperate as long as I am notified on time.只要及时告诉我,我就会合作.
注意：一般不说I will go there as long as I will get permission.或I'm sure that I will come as long as I will finish the work.一般说：I will go there as long as I get permission.
since引导原因状语从句,相当于because与as much as,后面相当自由,什么时态都可以接,但是注意：since与so不能同时在句中出现,一次只能用一个!
例1：Since you're not interested,I won't tell you about it.既然你不感兴趣,那我就不告诉你了.
注意：不能说Since I can speak English fluently,so I will try this position again.要么把since去了,要么把so去了!
as与since的用法完全相同,而且也不能与so等在一个句子中共存.
例1：As I have been warned not to bring this knife onto the plane,I'd better still leave it to you.
as引导方式状语从句：
例1：Think as I think.像我这样去想.
例2：The hotel is quite comfortable as such establishments go.The sun is hot,as everyone knows.就设备而言,这个旅馆相当舒适.太阳非常热,这一点众所周知.
as if引导方式状语从句：
例1：It looked as if she were made of ice.她看起来似乎是冰做的.
例2：She spoke to me as if she knew me.她和我说话的神情,好像她早就认识我似的.（=as though）
as though引导方式状语从句（用法等同于as if）：
例1：looked as though they had been quarreling.看起来他们刚才好象在吵架.
例2：The animal was walking as though it had hurt its leg.这动物走路的样子好像伤了腿似的.
