2) To max the firm's profit, one also need to make sure that marginal revenue = marginal cost = 1000.

(3000 - 1000 - 10q)*q. We solve this problem and obtain q = 200 (thousand units). And the associated monoply price is simply: 3000 - 200*10 = $1000.
