I'm going to share my most embarrassing experience in life with you.It turned out to be one of my life's valuable lessons.This summer,I attended a dance summer camp organized by the high school dance team.We went to learn new tricks,techniques and knowledge about the art of dance.I arrived at the camp,being very confident of my ability to be a good dancer;of course I was expecting high marks and praise.My rich experience and long time in the dance team qualified me for the top class,which I felt was a rtght decision.However,when the class began,I realized that I did not know as much as I thought I did.My over-confidence caused me to fall flat on my face.It seemed as if every girl in the class would perform the challenging jumps,leaps and other difficult tricks except me.All of that "former exerpriecne" got me nowhere.Because of that I became discouraged and wanted to quit immediately.My frustration kept me from doing my best.As a result,the final performance was nothing but ambarrassing.On the stage I completely forgot how to dance and most of the time I just stood there,looking stupid,while the other girls performed like professionals.How embarrassing it was!From this experience I conluded that people are sometimes not as good at something as they think they are;there is always someone out there that can do it better than you.I also learned that there is always room for improvement,and I should do my best whatever the situation is,I know if I do not try my best,I will fail even before I begin.l赞同5| 评论(1
