DIfferent people will have quite different experiences in the progress of learning English. And it is of great importance that everyone ought to gain the most suitable way for himself.
Near the Tian'anmen Square lives my family including my father, mother and I. With the summer Olympic Games approaching in the summer of 2008, we felt it was necessary for us to learn English well due to the fact that more and more foreigners were coming to Beijing.
My father is a taxi driver and he need to drive English speakers to places of interests at times. He studied English by listening to the video and practicing his oral English. As hardworking he was, he still found it harsh to speak fluent English. Finally, my father's efforts were paid off because he could communicate with foreign passengers.
As for my mother, she loves listening to English songs and dancing to the music. Therefore, she would download English songs online and learn to sing them as well as use them as background music when dancing. She believes that her way of learning English is effective and she finally made it. My mother now can enjoy the beauty of English everyday.
When it comes to me, I studied English at school and signed up for the cool camp in The New Oriental where I met a lot of friends who were eager to learn English like me. We set up an English corner together and did many activities in English. Through my experience, I realised that English is not about individual work but cooperation. Practicing English with friends as much as possible can make English learning a lot of fun.
We three studied English in different ways but all of us made great progress. Nevertheless, it is to learn English and have fun.
