What’s the difference between the opinions of men and women on clothes?

I don't know if the differences are strictly gender specific.Most femails I know,however,eventually reach a point where they are quite concerned about how they look to other people.Most males I know are seldom worried about how they look.Certainly I've seen some males who are quite concerned.And most males go through a period where they feel a strong need to look the same as everyone else...that eventually vanishes again.
Speaking on men and how they view women's style:
I have 7 brothers.I'm engaged and have had 2 previous serious relationships and 2 of my best friends in high school were guys.
Out of the 12 men in my life...only ONE could be open-minded long enough to give a real opnion.
Typically guys like solid colors,form fitted (without being skin tight) and virtually plain.
For example...the colors and styles trendy today- most men do dislike or even hate.
Men had it made in the mid and late 90's when form fitting,solid colored t's (long sleeve to short) were what every woman wore all the time.
Well (time to sound professinal) Men and women are different.Starting with women they would like their man or whatever to dress in what makes the girl look good or what she like.And now the men only pick out things that they like and want their girl to dress in.It all balls down to them uncomfortability and then they argue.Thats my opinion.(LOL)

it totally depends on the guy and the girl.my best guy friend loves to shop with me and my best girl friend hates it.and my dad cant dress him self to save his life but my boss,he is like on step away from metro.and despite popular opinion i know a lot of gay guys who cant dress and hate to shop.its also a cultural thing,ya know boys are supposed to be manly and girls are supposed to be pretty.
