Private-owned Small and Medium-sized enterprises in China contribute considerably to Chinese economy these years.It is hard to ignore the growing significance of SMEs in China's economy.But,there are some serious problems emerge during its continuous development.Working skill deficiencies have been defined as a big problem.And the problem is linking with the training practice inside these enterprises.Therefore,in order to fix the question how to well practice in training as a Chinese private-owned SME[ SME:Small and Medium Enterprise],this research through a qualitative case study to investigate current training issues within a traditional herbal remedy company located in ShangHai.Eleven employees was interviewed face to face,some problems come with its training activities,like unqualified skilled trainer,lacking of holistic training plan,unfair evaluation system,unused training modes,inadequate training activities,etc,have been discovered.At the same times,through comparing and contrasting other documentary discovered by other researchers,some essential factors,for instance,company policy,culture,size and characteristic constraints that lead to the current situation have been intensively discussed.And finally,suggestion will be provided based on the case findings.The whole research is a process of problem finding and solving.It tries to draw attentions on qualitative and micro scope research by others to investigate Chinese SMEs and give advices for their further development.
