感觉差不多?口语中好像没听见过are there any 全部都是is there any 用的,就是想搞清楚一下,比方说 is there any coach in this gym?or are the any coaches in this gym?如果想提问是否有 coach在这个gym里面应该用哪一句呢?如果用前一句是不是就表明就一个coach 是否要改为 is there a coach in this gym?感觉怪怪的

Is there any 和 are there any 两个表达都是对的,要看具体情况.用单数时,表示预期答案是单数,但是不确定是哪个,或者答案不可数.如：
Is there any truth to that rumor?
Is there any hope for our overfished oceans?
上面两句是不能改成复数的,也不能把any改成a.下面这两句可以用单数也可以用复数：
2012:is there any reason to fear the end of the world?
Is there any way to see who views my profile on Facebook?
这里把any改成a也对：
2012:is there a reason to fear the end of the world?
Is there a way to see who views my profile on Facebook?
下面的例子必须用a,不能用any：
