汽车外面很冷.当我们路过一家咖啡店的时候我们并不想下车.突然我注意到一位矮矮的老人,裹着很少的衣物,在寒风中颤栗.他在等待任何一位可以留给他一枚硬币或者是一杯热茶的人.我叫我的老公过去给他些东西.老人凝视着老公的脸颊,微笑着说：“谢谢”我很欣慰也衷心的祝愿这位老人可以在这寒冷的黑夜里生存下来.
我确定会在第二天遇见他一面并看到他过得如何,因为我每天都不得不经过那条街道.第二天傍晚我这样做了,而他记得这辆车并来到了我的窗边对我微笑.这次我给了他一袋食物.他拿到袋子我把手给了他.他举起食物微笑着说：“上帝保佑你!”我看着这位老人,他让我想起了自己的父亲.
我真心的希望我们每一个人记住,也许有一天,这将发生在我们其中某个人的面前,因此请不要至少连一句充满爱意的话语,善意的微笑,或者任何形式的善举都不给予地经过一个穷人.
