本文立足我国客观实际,以民营企业为研究对象,采用静态分析和动态分析相结合、比较分析和经验归纳分析相结合,紧紧围绕民营企业融资这一关键问题展开研究：首先,本文从民营企业和企业融资的基本理论切入,阐述了民营企业的基本特征、融资特点、融资渠道和融资方式.其次,从内源融资和外源融资的角度,分析探讨民营企业融资现状与存在的问题,并从企业内部制约条件和外部经营环境两大方面,较深入剖析了民营企业融资面临问题和困难的深层次原因.
最后，在比较借鉴国外（主要是西方发达国家）政府在扶持中小企业过程中实施的有效政策经验基础上，研究探讨了解决民营企业融资困境的对策：（1）通过重建企业内部产权结构、加强企业信用建设等全面提升民营企业自身素质；（2）增强政府对民营企业成长环境的建设；（3）激活融资市场，拓宽融资新渠道。
