An elderly man fell down downtown. In hospital, he called for his son repeatedly.
It was known from a worn letter that he had only a son as a marine, without other relatives.
The Red Cross office helped to look for the son. They found him when he was marshing in a military exercise and rushed him to the hospital to give him the chance to say goodbye to his father.
For that night, the son sat by the bed without words, holding the old man's hands.
The father died at dawn.
However, the man turned out not the patient' son. Despite this, he stayed to accompany the old man.
Two days later, the right son, a mirine too, of that old man went to attend his fathers funeral.
These two marines has the same name and similar numbers in the camp and the personnel office had pulled out the wrong record.
