是可数名词,但是the + adj.就已经指一类人了,Egyptian也可以做形容词的,把它理解成为形容词,可不可以说the Egyptian?
chinese 的单复数都是chinese,当然看不到the Chineses喽,晕死,看得到the Chineses才怪.
那美国人可不可以说the American,德国人可不可以说the German呢?

the Egyptian不可以指埃及人.你的那种"the + adj.就已经指一类人了"想法说得通,但是在英语中不这么用.
埃及人就是Egyptians,这是最常见且普遍的说法.
