Dear my Xiuying,
I was so happy that you stay up so late to talk with me on telephone. You have a lovely soft voice and it gives me warm feeling to talk with you. And I think your daughter, (Ming?), was very helpful and I understand her fairly well and please thank her for me for being translator. I hope someday she will become friends with my Abagail and together they can learn about one another's cultures. That would be so nice.
No Sweetheart, I have always lived here. When I was a child I traveled quite a bit around the USA and lived in all different kinds of climates. Each climate has it's advantages and dis-advantages. Where I live now it is cold but I moved here for the sake of my Son and Daughter when they were very young because I wanted them to grow up in a nice part of the country away from the big city and the problems associated with the big city. And yes, if i move it will affect my life to some extent but I think that any move to a place where it is less cold would be a good thing, and, since I am versatile man, I think I can find the right kind of work that make me happy in warmer place. I have never been afraid to try a new challenge and usually find that there is a positive side for every negative.
Of course! my dear . you a silly girl sometimes . I make you spaghetti and you lay around like lazy cat and that will make me very happy. But.I am not a very good cook. Remember, I am just dumb man from USA!
