I stayed at the Ritz for a week for business.The hotel was in a great location,I walked to Picadilly Circus and Covent Garden one night.The service was great.When I checked in,my room wasn't ready yet so they set me up in the hospitality suite for my (short) wait.The suite had coffee,tea,pastries,tv and internet,and a bathroom.The room itself was fabulous.Very comfortable bed and quiet.I was on the main street side but heard no traffic noise.The bathroom was great,with a towel heater and bathtub/shower combo.When I first got to the room my internet wasn't working and so they sent somene up immediately to help fix it and we did figure out the problem promptly - exactly the kind of service I expect for this price bracket!The location is next to a park (Green park or something like that) and in walking distance to shops,food,bars,atms,coffee shops,etc.It is also very easy to get a cab to go anywhere you please or it is less than 1/2 block to the [Green Park?] Tube stop.Highly recommended for comfortable business travel or for a couples stay.Not recommended for families as it seemed a bit "stuffy" to me and you weren't allowed in the dining room or even the bar(!) without a jacket.I mean comeon,I can't have a nightcap with out getting all decked out?That is the only downside to an otherwise superb hotel.

The price was right for a triple room-- very hard to come by in London in the summer,and it came out to just over 100 USD.The triple was a large room in the "basement" but there were 2 full sized windows.One bed was a queen size,the other two were singles,so this would have been a great family room.The bathroom was clean.My only complaint was that the basement room smelled quite strongly of basement-- not mold,not stuffy,not BAD,exactly,but like a cool damp basement in the summer,which is what it was.For things nearby-- the Earls Court station is a very quick walk.There is a Tesco and a Wagamama nearby as well.The street it is on is pretty much wall to wall hotels,which is fine.Breakfast was coffee,tea,juice,cereal,milk,fruit,ham (warm),croissant,and toast.The front desk staff was very nice.I left a box set of DVDs in my room accidentally and when I came back later they were at the desk waiting for me.The "locked storage" for luggage is actually just a chain on the wall in an unlocked hallway.At the end of your day the person getting your bag might not be the one who chained it up,so there is the risk of some random person pointing and saying "that one is mine" and taking your bag,but all was well.In all,big room,convenient location,great price,honest helpful staff.Bit of a strange smell,but very clean.Would stay again.

这个价格对于三人间正好——夏天来伦敦是不方便的,而且要100美元以上.三人间是个位于地下层大房间,但是这里却有2个与平常房间一样大小的窗户,有一个大号床,令外两个是单人床,所以这是个供大家庭住的房间.卧室非常整洁.我唯一的不满就是这里闻起来跟地下室一样让人不悦,但并不是发霉的味道也不是闷的味道也不是腐烂的味道但是像一个夏天潮湿的地下室.
对于周边的情况,厄尔斯考特站非常近,特斯科和拉面道也非常近.所在的街道也比酒店好得多.早饭是咖啡,茶,果汁,麦片粥,牛奶,热火腿,羊角面包和吐司.前台的服务员服务非常出色和周到.我不小心将一盒CD忘在了屋子里的桌子上,当我回来取的时候,它们已经在前台了.行李存放处实际上就在一个没有门锁的走廊的一面墙旁.所以最后一天的时候人们经常会拿错包.总的来说,大房间,便捷的地理位置,合理的价格,诚恳乐于助人的员工,一些怪味道房间,但是也很整洁,总会让人还想在住一次
