VOLTAGE REGULATING RELAY:
4.1 The relay to have the following ratings and setting rangers:
4.1.1 Rated voltage 120 Volts 60 Hz. for 13.8kV control panels 110 Volts 60 Hz. for 33 kV
control panels
4.1.2 Reference voltage continuously adjustable against a calibrated scale of ±10% of
rated voltage
4.1.3 Dead band (sensitivity) continuously adjustable against scale from ±0.5% to 3% of
reference voltage.
4.1.4 Integrating time curve having 80 seconds delay for +3% outside dead band.
4.1.5 Relay accuracy:
4.1.5.1 ±1% over the range of reference voltage.
4.1.5.2 ±3% over the range of dead band.
4.1.5.3 ±10% of response time at 1% outside dead band.
4.2 The relay to have the following features:
4.2.1 Pulse tap change initiation output signals with duration not less than 2 seconds as
follows:
4.2.1.1 “High Volts” output signal to initiate tap changer motor to lower power transformer
secondary voltage.
4.2.1.2 “Low Volts” output signal to initiate tap changer motor to raise power transformer
secondary voltage.
4.2.2 Under voltage blocking at voltage less than 80% of reference voltage.
4.2.3 Supervision of the tap changer by giving an alarm [Voltage Control Fail] for:-
4.2.3.1 Auxiliary supply fail (127 Volts 60 Hz).
4.2.3.2 If the regulated voltage supply fails or drops below 80% of setting voltage after a
time delay of 10 seconds.
4.2.3.3 If the regulated voltage supply remains ±3% outside the set dead band after a
time delay of 15 minutes.

4.2.3.1 辅助供应失败(127V,60 Hz时)
4.2.3.2 如果稳压电源失败或低于80%,原本设定的电压将延时到10秒后.(这句没把握,你自己看着办)
4.2.3.3 如果稳压电源仍在±3%外,原本设置死区的时间将延迟到15分钟后.(这句也是没把握,我自己猜测了一下他描述的意思)
