Mr Shute teaches us maths in a middle school this term. He works hard and is friendly to us all. So we like to listen to his lectures and love the old man.
But sometimes Mr Shute forgets something when he’s thinking over some problems. For example, he wears his wife’s hat or gets on a wrong bus. We all know him well and nobody laughs at him.
One afternoon it was very hot while Mr Shute was thinking over a problem in his room. He forgot to turn on the electric fan and several hours later he was all wet through. His wife came back and found it. She asked him to have a bath. He thought she was right and went to the bath room. He didn’t stop thinking while he was lying in the bathtub. Suddenly he found he forgot to take off his clothes. He hurried to jump out of it and looked at them carefully. At last he found they were dry and then said to himself,“Luckily I haven’t poured any water into the bathtub! ”
这学期,舒特先生在我们中学教数学.他是一个工作努力,对同学友好的人.因此我们喜欢他的课和这位老人.
但是有时候,舒特先生会思考一些问题以至于忘记别的东西.像是他戴他妻子的帽子,或是上错公交.这些我们都明白,也没人取笑他.
在一个非常炎热的下午,舒特先生正在屋里思考一个问题.他忘记打开电扇,所以几小时以后,他全身都湿了.他妻子回来看到这一切,叫他去冲个澡.他觉得有道理,然后就去了洗手间.他躺在浴缸里都没忘了思考.突然,他发现他忘记脱衣服了,他连忙起来,然后急忙看了看衣服,但他发现他的衣服都没湿,然后他说：幸好我还没往浴缸里放水.


Little Tony likes cartoons very much. When the cartoons begin
on TV ,he does nothing until they are over. Sometimes he'd rather wait for a long time and go to bed late. In the morning his mother has to wake him up,or he'll be late for school.
Yesterday Tony heard there would be an interesting cartoon today. This morning, as soon as he got up, he turned on the television, but didn't receive the programme. He had to have breakfast and then went to school. After school he ranhome while his mother was cooking supper in the kitchen. He hurried to the sitting room and turned on the TV again , but he couldn't find the cartoon. He rushed into the kitchen and asked his mother for help. "It's only five now ." said the woman ,"Your programme will be after supper." "Well. let's have supper right now!"
小tony非常喜欢动画片,每当电视上播放动画片的时候,他在看完之前什么也不做.有时候他宁愿等很长的时间,很晚才睡觉.每天早上她妈妈不得不叫他起床,否则他上学就会迟到.昨天小tony听说今天将会有一部很有趣的动画片.今天早上,他一起床就打开电视,但是没有看到那个节目,于是他不得不去吃早饭,然后去上学.放学后他跑回家,正当他妈妈在厨房做饭.他急忙跑到客厅再一次的打开电视,但是他没有找到动画片.他冲进厨房,向他的妈妈求助.“现在才5点.”他妈妈说“你要看的节目要在晚饭后”“太好了,我们现在就吃晚饭吧”
