我的一点见
1、后面指的是同一个（the African union）,所以用it啊.one,that,ones等才指的是同类呢.是不是记反了?
2、这里其实用几个引导状语从句的连词都不算错,since,if,when,now that,once等.你比较一下,从意思上来说,once更好一点.一旦春天来临天气变暖,或,等到春天来临天气变暖,我们就又可以去野营了.用since的话,就是：既然春天来临气候变暖,我们就又可以去野营了.
3、这个that就是类指,that指代“生活水平”,是特指,后面的形容词短语是它的定语“（超过）那种必要温饱的生活水平”.
你所说的such books as good for them,这里面as引导的哪里是定语从句啊?定语从句的谓语动词哪儿去了?
